Taardegt is an independent online retailer based in Phoenix, Arizona. We sell household appliances and everyday carry goods — air fryers, coffee machines, cookware, backpacks, and the items around them that people actually use day to day.
The store started from a fairly ordinary frustration. Buying a coffee machine or a pan online usually means reading a product page that lists a dozen features and answers none of the questions that matter: how loud is it, how hard is it to clean, does the nonstick coating survive a dishwasher, will the backpack's strap hold up after a year of commuting. We bought our share of appliances and bags that looked fine in photos and turned out to be a hassle in the kitchen or on the walk to work. Returns were possible, but the process was slow and the packaging was already gone. We thought a store could do better than that: describe the product honestly, price it clearly, ship it without drama, and make a return simple if it does not work out.
That is the whole idea behind Taardegt. We are not trying to carry everything. We focus on kitchen appliances, cookware, and bags because those are the categories where a bad purchase costs you the most in daily annoyance — the air fryer that is too loud to use while someone is on a call, the pan whose coating starts flaking after two months, the backpack whose zipper gives out mid-trip. When we list an item, we describe what it does and what it does not do. If a product has a limitation worth knowing before you buy, we would rather state it on the product page than have you find out after delivery.
What we carry. Our catalog centers on four groups: household appliances, air fryers and coffee machines among them; cookware, including pots, pans, and the pieces that go with them; backpacks and everyday bags; and a small selection of related everyday items. We add products when we have a reason to believe they are worth carrying, not to fill a category page. Availability changes, and if something is out of stock we would rather show it as unavailable than take an order we cannot fill on time.
How we operate. Orders are packed and shipped from our facility in Phoenix, Arizona, and customer emails are answered by the same team that handles the orders. When you write to info@taardegt.com, you reach people who can look up your order and make a decision about it, not an outsourced desk reading from a script. We ship within the contiguous United States only. Our business hours are Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Central Time.
What we are not. We are a standalone business with our own sourcing, our own order handling, and our own customer support. Decisions about what we carry, how we price it, and how we handle a return are made here. The brand name, the domain Taardegt, and the way we describe our products are our own.
