Taardegt accepts the following payment methods: Visa, MasterCard, and PayPal. These are the only payment methods available at checkout. Payment method icons displayed on our site reflect the methods that are actually accepted; if a method is not listed above, it is not accepted.
When your card is charged. Your payment method is authorized when you place the order and captured when the order is handed to the carrier, which occurs within 1–2 business days of order placement. If an item is unavailable after authorization, the authorization is released and you are not charged for that item.
Currency and taxes. All prices on Taardegt are listed in United States dollars. Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on the shipping address and applicable state and local rules. The total shown at checkout includes the product price, shipping cost (free for orders within the contiguous United States), and applicable sales tax. There are no additional fees added after checkout.
Payment security. Checkout is served over HTTPS, and payment card information is transmitted directly to our payment processor over an encrypted connection. Taardegt does not store full card numbers on its servers.
Payment failures and declines. If a payment authorization fails, the order is not confirmed and you will see a message at checkout. You can retry with the same method or use another accepted method. If your card is declined but your bank shows a pending authorization, that authorization is typically released by your bank within a few business days; Taardegt does not capture funds on a failed order.
Recurring billing. Taardegt does not offer subscriptions, installment plans, or any recurring charge arrangement. Every order is a one-time purchase. If this changes in the future, the terms of any recurring program will be disclosed separately before you enroll.
Refund method. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Refunds to PayPal follow PayPal's posting timelines. The timing for a refund to appear after it is initiated by Taardegt is described in our Return & Refund Policy.
